Did you know that Mobil Information Systems offers? the means whereby a 3rd party system or program can gain access to limited information about your fleet location??

To fully understand this service let us explain through a real life example of one of our customers using this service.

Many transporters in Ireland use European transport brokers and agents to organise loads for them.? It was one of these agents that recently asked us if we could help them integrate their load management system with our vehicle locations.? This agent already had the load details and registration number of the vehicle transporting the load, they needed to know where that vehicle was to determine the progress of the load.

Using our MSTLocate? we were able to allow this agent’s system to query the location of a vehicle.? In turn MSTLocate returns information to the agents system for them to determine the location of the vehicle and hence the load that they have contracted to the Irish transporter.? In this particular example the agent’s IT department had their system talking to MSTLocate within a matter of hours.

Access to this information is only allowed by 3rd parties if you, our customer gives them permission to do so, in which case we MIS issue them with a specific login and password which allows access to only your fleet of vehicles.

This is only one example of how MSTLocate can be used by a 3rd party process that requires live updates.?

If you feel that your relationship with your customers can be enhanced by offering this service please give us a call and we will gladly explain this feature and its benefits further to you.
