To make that happen, we are absolutely thrilled to introduce a brand new face to our support team, and welcome back a very familiar friend to our engineering crew!
Meet Aidan Foley – Our New Technical Support Assistant
Aidan Foley, Technical Support Assistant
If you call into the office with a technical question, there’s a very good chance you’ll get to chat with Aidan. He has joined us in a completely new role created specifically to help our growing team stay ahead of the curve.
Working closely alongside Technical Manager Gary Wilmot, Aidan is the vital link between our field engineers and the systems that keep everything running smoothly.
What Aidan does for you:
- Updating cases and managing unit movements following engineer field work.
- Providing technical support by phone; a direct line for customers and engineers on the road
- Checking unit performance and assisting with day to day technical operations.
- Preparing hardware prior to installation
- Supporting our field engineers so they can stay focused on delivering great service to you.
Get to know Aidan:
Aidan lives locally in North County Dublin, making his morning commute to the office a breeze. When he’s not helping our clients, he’s a massive football fan and loves listening to and discovering great music.
Welcome Back, Jack Barry! – Field Installation Engineer
Jack Barry, Field Installation Engineer
For many of our long-term clients, Jack needs no introduction. He was an absolute favorite among our customers during his first time with us between 2022 and 2023.
Jack recently took off for Australia to explore the world and expand his skills, spending time working in the renewable energy sector, maintaining massive wind farms. He’s back in Ireland with a wealth of new technical hands-on experience, and we couldn’t be happier to have him back on the Mobil-I team (and we know our customers are too!).
What Jack does for you:
- Installing tracking and camera units across your fleet: professionally and efficiently
- Carrying out service work to keep your systems running at their best
- Transferring units between vehicles quickly and with minimal disruption to your operations
- Expanding our field coverage across Ireland; more reach, faster response times for you

Based down in Kildare, Jack is a huge sports and outdoors enthusiast. He loves fishing, traveling to new places, and is a passionate rugby fan—he’s even looking to get back on the pitch and play for a local club again soon.
